Motion: Vacant Property Policy
Some motions begin with data, reports, or provincial policy. This one began with conversations.
A vacant property can’t house a family, support a business, or contribute to a vibrant neighbourhood.
At our next Council meeting, I’ll be bringing forward a motion asking staff to examine potential vacant property solutions for Central Elgin, including registries, taxation tools, enforcement options, and incentives.
